Ronda is a town in Malaga Province surrounded by the Sierra de Ronda, close to the city of Seville. Sitting high above the nearby plains of Andalucia, offering spectacular views of the region, Ronda is one of the most historic locations in southern Andalucia.

Situated in inland Andalucia, Ronda lives and breathes Andalucian tradition, from the way of life to the architecture to the festivals. Many consider Ronda to be the birthplace of bullfighting, with the Bullring thought to be one of the oldest and most beautiful in Spain.

With some excellent restaurants in the town, the local cuisine is well-worth sampling. There are also numerous monuments in the town, with the Mondragon Palace, the New Bridge, Gato Cave and the Royal Horse Centre. All theses together with the nearby Sierra de Ronda, and the spectacular views from the Alameda gardens mean Ronda is hugely popular among local and international visitors.
